Meet Maddie Porter, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Porter completed her undergraduate studies at The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and dual minors in Human Development & Family Studies and Special Education. She then attended Ohio University and completed her Doctorate of Audiology in May of 2025. She has been with Pittsburgh Ear Associates from 2022, completing a short rotation during her second year of graduate school, followed by her fourth year residency.

After graduation, she joined the PEA team. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. She frequents various manufacturer trainings to learn the best products on the market for her patients. Dr. Porter can be seen at all locations – Wexford, Monroeville, and Allegheny General Hospital.

Outside of work, you can find Dr. Porter spending time with loved ones including her dog, Duke, catching up with friends, discovering Pittsburgh’s hidden gem restaurants and shops, or “ear” deep in an audiobook.
